MIDNIGHT BASKETBALL
BACK IN DETROIT
For the first time in decades, Occupy the Summer offers a one-of-a-kind way to spend your evenings. Detroit residents ages 18 and older can register in either the East, West, or Southwest league and battle in late-night games for 7 weeks to earn a chance to represent their neighborhood in the Occupy the Summer Championship in August.
All registered players will be given a jersey, basketball shoes, and assigned to a team in their neighborhood league. Midnight Basketball connects players to resources including food, transportation, and health resources to ensure that everyone is playing at their best.
Detroit players can opt to play at one of the three Midnight Basketball Pick Up locations. The courts are all about the game and offer a safe space to play late into the night.
What are you waiting on, it’s time to get your game on, register today!
